About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Insurance Defense Attorney to join our team in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. As a key member of our litigation team, you will be responsible for defending State Farm against insurance-related claims and lawsuits.

Responsibilities
  • Defend State Farm against insurance-related claims and lawsuits in state and federal courts.
  • Conduct thorough research and analysis to develop effective defense strategies.
  • Work closely with support staff to manage caseloads and ensure timely completion of tasks.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, colleagues, and other stakeholders.
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in insurance law and regulations.
Requirements
  • Active license to practice law in Florida and membership in good standing with the Florida Bar.
  • 3+ years of legal experience, preferably in insurance defense.
  • Strong research and analytical skills, with the ability to think critically and strategically.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients and colleagues.
  • Strong automation/technological skills for lawsuit handling and courtroom presentation.
