Key Responsibilities- Perform repairs and maintenance on pre-owned vehicles with efficiency and in accordance with dealership policies and procedures.
- Test-drive vehicles and diagnose issues using diagnostic tools and special service equipment.
- Diagnose, maintain, and repair automotive systems, including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, and air conditioning.
- Communicate with the Pre-Owned Manager to inform them of additional service needs and provide estimates for repairs.
- Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications.
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- At least 2 years of experience as an auto technician.
- Ability to read and comprehend written instructions and information.
- Knowledge of all aspects of automotive repair and maintenance.
- A fast learner with excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Excellent customer service skills and a team player attitude.
- Valid driver's license.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- Ability to identify problems quickly.
- Good knowledge of automobiles.
- Effective analytical and communication skills.
