About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Automotive Pre-Owned Service Technician to join our team at Serra Ford Farmington Hills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform vehicle repairs and maintenance with efficiency and in accordance with dealership policies and procedures.
  • Test-drive vehicles and diagnose issues using diagnostic tools and special service equipment.
  • Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems, including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, and air conditioning.
  • Communicate with the Pre-Owned Manager to inform them of any additional services needed and provide estimates for additional repairs.
  • Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications.
Requirements
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • At least 2 years of experience as an auto technician.
  • Ability to read and comprehend written instructions and information.
  • Knowledge in all aspects of automotive repair and maintenance.
  • A fast learner with excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Excellent customer service skills and a team player attitude.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
