We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Automotive Pre-Owned Service Technician to join our team at Serra Ford Farmington Hills. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for performing repairs and maintenance on pre-owned vehicles, ensuring they meet our high standards of quality and safety.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform repairs and maintenance on pre-owned vehicles, following dealership policies and procedures
  • Test-drive vehicles and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment
  • Diagnose and repair vehicle automotive systems, including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, and air conditioning
  • Communicate directly with the Pre-Owned Manager to ensure all necessary repairs are completed
  • Provide estimates of time needed for additional repairs and execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications
Requirements:
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • At least 2 years of experience as an auto technician
  • Ability to read and comprehend written instructions and information
  • Knowledge in all aspects of automotive repair and maintenance
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Team player with a valid driver's license
