We are in search of a seasoned International Financial Controller to join our team.Reporting directly to the General Manager, the International Financial Controller will oversee financial operations across multiple facilities and manage finance and accounting functions.
This pivotal leader will be an integral part of the management team.Key Responsibilities:
Identify and analyze factors influencing Revenue, EBITDA, and Cash Flow performance. Develop and implement strategies to enhance these metrics. Provide intellectual leadership to the management team in achieving targets.
Facilitate regular reporting that offers the management team insights into business performance and necessary actions to improve outcomes.
Lead the forecasting and budgeting processes across all facilities.
Manage a substantial capital expenditure budget. Conduct analyses of potential projects and monitor the execution of approved initiatives.
Present financial performance insights to senior leadership, driving global analysis of results.
Actively nurture finance talent at the site level. While developing U.S. finance talent, directly oversee daily accounting and finance operations, including journal entries, accounts receivable, and accounts payable.
Maintain an efficient operation by eliminating unnecessary processes.
Collaborate with corporate leadership on tax return completion, audits, and special projects.
Additional responsibilities as needed.
Qualifications:
8+ years of experience in Accounting or Finance within a manufacturing context, demonstrating a track record of driving operational improvements.
Experience as the Finance Leader for a manufacturing entity is essential; multi-site experience is preferred.
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
Strong analytical capabilities.
Familiarity with SAP is advantageous.
Willingness to travel up to 10%.
