Key Responsibilities- Accurately diagnose and repair complex issues with emergency vehicles and equipment.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks in accordance with manufacturer and industry standards.
- Conduct thorough inspections to identify potential problems and implement corrective actions.
- Communicate effectively with colleagues and management to ensure timely completion of repairs and maintenance tasks.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and techniques in emergency vehicle maintenance and repair.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge.
- At least 12 months of experience as a mechanic working on gasoline and diesel engines, vehicle electrical systems, and brakes and suspension systems.
- Satisfactory driving record and ability to maintain a clean driving record.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, multitask, and maintain attention to detail.
- ASE certifications preferred, but not required.
- 12 months of experience working as an ambulance or other emergency vehicle service technician.
- ASE certifications in areas such as brakes, electrical systems, and engine repair.
