Key Responsibilities
  • Accurately diagnose and repair complex issues with emergency vehicles and equipment.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks in accordance with manufacturer and industry standards.
  • Conduct thorough inspections to identify potential problems and implement corrective actions.
  • Communicate effectively with colleagues and management to ensure timely completion of repairs and maintenance tasks.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and techniques in emergency vehicle maintenance and repair.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge.
Requirements
  • At least 12 months of experience as a mechanic working on gasoline and diesel engines, vehicle electrical systems, and brakes and suspension systems.
  • Satisfactory driving record and ability to maintain a clean driving record.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, multitask, and maintain attention to detail.
  • ASE certifications preferred, but not required.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 12 months of experience working as an ambulance or other emergency vehicle service technician.
  • ASE certifications in areas such as brakes, electrical systems, and engine repair.
