Job Title: Auto Body Detailer/Apprentice

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Auto Body Detailer/Apprentice to join our team at CARSTAR Collision Repair Center in Niles, MI.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing vehicles for the repair process by pre-washing, detailing, and final washing prior to delivery to customers. Additionally, the Detailer will assist in maintaining a clean and safe work environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Pre-wash all vehicles before repairs begin
  • Completely detail and clean (interior and exterior) vehicles for customer delivery
  • Complete final vehicle inspection sheets for every vehicle
  • Port vehicles as needed for technicians and estimators
Requirements
  • Prior knowledge of or experience in a collision repair center or other automotive experience
  • High school diploma
  • Reliable work history, attendance, and punctuality required
  • Strong attention to detail required
  • Ability to receive direction and work well with others
  • Must have a valid driver's license
