Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and dynamic individual to join our team as an Associate Director of Program Services. This role is essential in providing leadership to uphold Nonotuck's values and key principles, ensuring the delivery of exceptional support to the individuals served by our programs. If you possess leadership experience in human services, we encourage you to consider this opportunity.
The Associate Director will collaborate closely with the Program Director to oversee all facets of the program, ensuring that operational requirements are met. This includes supervising program staff, ensuring compliance with agency policies, and working in partnership with funding sources and service providers.
Key Responsibilities:
Program Oversight: Ensure comprehensive supervision of all program aspects to guarantee optimal service delivery and documentation in line with Nonotuck standards. Staff Management: Supervise a diverse team, including Registered Nurses, Care Managers, Community Health Workers, and Caregivers, ensuring responsibilities are met as outlined in job descriptions. Team Collaboration: Participate in leadership meetings and act as a liaison with funding sources and service providers as directed by the Executive Team. Operational Management: Collaborate with the Executive Team to ensure all operational needs are fulfilled, adhering to agency policies and relevant regulations. Emergency Response Coordination: Organize and participate in the program's emergency response system. Recruitment and Evaluation: Oversee the recruitment, selection, and assessment of staff, caregivers, and volunteers. Compliance: Ensure that all licensure and accreditation requirements for the program are met and maintained. Committee Engagement: Participate in agency-wide committees to support organizational goals. Program Development: Engage in program enhancement initiatives and special projects as assigned by the Executive Team. Training and Education: Provide ongoing training and educational resources to staff and caregivers on health and aging topics. Driving and Weekend Availability: Must possess a valid driver's license and be available to work weekends as needed.Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree required; Master's Degree preferred. Recent experience working with elders or individuals with disabilities. Proven supervisory and program management experience. Community experience related to developmental services and adult foster care preferred. Excellent communication skills and a high level of initiative.
