Cardiac Sonographer

Mission Hospital is seeking a highly skilled Cardiac Sonographer to join our team. As a Cardiac Sonographer, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our cardiovascular program.
Responsibilities- Perform echocardiograms and other cardiac imaging procedures to diagnose and monitor cardiovascular conditions
- Operate and maintain complex medical equipment, including ultrasound machines and cardiac catheters
- Collaborate with cardiologists, radiologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans
- Develop and implement patient education programs to promote cardiovascular health and wellness
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and optimize departmental efficiency
- Basic Cardiac Life Support certification
- Associate Degree in a related field
- Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) or Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) certification
