Cardiac Sonographer Job Description

At Mission Hospital, we are seeking a skilled Cardiac Sonographer to join our team. As a Cardiac Sonographer, you will be responsible for performing all facets of cardiac ultrasound testing for the noninvasive laboratory of Cardiology Services.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform two-dimensional, Doppler, transesophageal, and stress echocardiography
  • Graduate from an accredited cardiac sonography program or have practiced as a sonographer for greater than 2 years
  • Must be a Registered Cardiac Sonographer with Cardiovascular Credentialing International or the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers; BCLS (Adult)
  • ACLS (Adult)
  • Cardiology Echo: 2 years practicing as a sonographer
