Are you an experienced inspection engineer seeking to advance your career with a prestigious engineering firm? Our client, a well-established company specializing in geotechnical engineering, excavation support systems, and foundation projects, is looking for a dedicated professional.
This role primarily involves working within the five boroughs, making it an excellent fit for local candidates who wish to contribute to significant projects in the area.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct inspections and document exploratory borings, manage sampling processes, and analyze encountered conditions.
- Oversee and record construction activities related to underground structures, including driven piles, sheet piles, tieback anchors, and wales.
- Inspect and evaluate excavated subgrades, drainage systems, and structural fill.
- Collaborate with clients and field teams effectively.
- Coordinate efforts with office and field engineers to ensure project success.
Qualifications:
- Preferred: Professional Engineer (PE) license in New York.
- Proven experience in construction inspection.
- Knowledge of subsurface investigations, borings, sampling, and field testing methodologies.
