CNC Router Operator Job Description

We are seeking a skilled CNC Router Operator to join our team at Industrial Profile Systems. As a CNC Router Operator, you will be responsible for operating a MultiCam Router to machine parts with precision and accuracy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Interpret drawings to determine dimensional criteria, tolerances, and geometric dimensioning.
  • Perform set-ups and tool pathing for router operation.
  • CNC machining of parts on MultiCam Router.
  • Identify necessary tooling and equipment to perform assigned operation.
  • Maintain tooling and perform preventative maintenance for the machine as needed.
  • Operate a tow motor and overhead crane on an as needed basis.
  • Assist in maintaining the highest quality of product provided by Industrial Profile Systems.
  • Perform other miscellaneous job duties and related functions as directed.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Minimum of 3 years of CNC router machining experience required.
  • Knowledge and/or experience with Enroute routing software.
  • Advanced ability to read and interpret drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
  • Proficiency in basic math for measurement and calculations.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and tasks with a sense of urgency.
  • Effective verbal communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills.
  • Well organized with an aptitude for details and precision machining.
  • Proficient PC skills in a Windows environment.
  • Must be able to work independently with little supervision.
  • Able to stand or walk for the majority of the day and able to lift 40lbs on a needed basis and up to 75 pounds with assistance.
  • Able to regularly apply physical mobility (stretching, lifting, bending, twisting, etc.) to perform all assembly related assignments.
