We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Maintenance Technician to join our team at Tamarack Station Apartments in Camden, NJ. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the upkeep and maintenance of our apartment community, including indoor and outdoor maintenance, cleaning, and minor repairs.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain the indoor and outdoor areas of the community, including painting, carpentry, drywall, cleaning, minor plumbing, basic electrical, flooring, and other maintenance activities.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, including preparing vacant units for new residents, and responding to work orders in a timely manner.
- Communicate effectively with team members and residents to ensure prompt and efficient service.
- Work independently and as part of a team to achieve maintenance goals and objectives.
- Monitor building and grounds to ensure a neat and clean presentation and environment.
- Minimum 2+ years of experience in apartment or home repair maintenance, including drywall repair, painting, light plumbing, basic electrical, flooring, cleaning, and HVAC experience.
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and customer service skills.
- Reliable transportation and ability to work on-call rotation.
- Bilingual Spanish-speaking a plus.
