About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Physicist to join our team at 0101 D3 Oncology Inc. as a Radiation Oncology Specialist. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a talented group of professionals who are passionate about delivering high-quality cancer care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with our Radiation Oncology team to ensure the safe and effective delivery of radiation therapy treatments.
  • Develop and implement radiation safety policies and procedures to minimize radiation exposure to patients and staff.
  • Provide physics consultation to radiation oncologists and other staff members on aspects of patient care and treatment.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and organizational regulations for radiation safety.
  • Participate in the development of organizational performance improvement activities, policies, and procedures.
Requirements
  • M.S. or Ph.D. in Medical Physics or a closely related field.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of clinical experience in addition to a CAMPEP-accredited residency.
  • Candidates who have passed the Part-I and Part-II ABR Exams are preferred.
  • Experience with High Dose Rate (HDR) and Stereotactic Radiosurgery (SRS) programs is preferred.
  • Computer system administration experience with patient record and verify database applications is desirable.
  • Certification in Radiation Oncology Physics by the American Board of Radiology (ABR) or other alternative certifying body is required.
