Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Maintenance Technician to join our team at a manufacturing facility in Whitakers, NC. As an Electrical Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for performing preventive and corrective maintenance on automated equipment, troubleshooting electrical and electronic systems, and ensuring a machine availability goal of 95% or higher.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on automated equipment
  • Troubleshoot and repair electrical and electronic systems
  • Ensure a machine availability goal of 95% or higher
  • Actively participate in the Skills Training Program for continuing skills improvement
  • Follow all company safety practices and procedures, including lockout/tagout

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated troubleshooting skills in solving problems with electrical and electronic systems
  • Four years of applicable experience as a qualified repair person in trouble-shooting and repair of electrical systems, relay, PLC, and CNC controls for machine repair or machine building and maintenance
  • Proven experience in the use of electronic test equipment, oscilloscopes, megohmmeters, multimeters, signal generators, logic probes, etc.
  • Have a thorough understanding of ladder diagrams/logic and competent in the programming and trouble-shooting of Modicon and Allen Bradley programmable controllers
  • Experienced in running conduit, wire sizing, and installation requirements and codes of the N.E.C. and JIC
