Position Overview

We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Home Health Aides to join our team and provide essential in-home care to our valued participants. As a Home Health Aide, you will play a vital role in assisting individuals with their daily living activities and promoting their well-being within the comfort of their own homes.

Responsibilities

  • Provide personalized assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, toileting, and eating, ensuring the dignity and comfort of each participant.
  • Assist with Instrumental Activities of Daily Living (IADLs) including light housekeeping, meal preparation, medication reminders, and transportation to appointments, fostering independence and enhancing quality of life.
  • Carefully monitor participants' health status, document observations accurately, and promptly report any changes or concerns to the appropriate healthcare team members, ensuring timely intervention and optimal care.
  • Collaborate effectively with nurses, social workers, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans, promoting a holistic approach to patient well-being.
  • Maintain a safe and hygienic environment for participants, adhering to infection control protocols and best practices, safeguarding their health and well-being.

Qualifications

  • A genuine passion for providing compassionate care to individuals in need.
  • Previous experience as a Home Health Aide or in a similar role is preferred but not required.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability.
  • A commitment to upholding the highest ethical standards and maintaining patient confidentiality.
