Position Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and empathetic Senior Living Services Manager who is passionate about delivering outstanding care and support to our residents. This role serves as the primary liaison for residents, families, and staff regarding care requirements. You will collaborate closely with the nursing team to ensure the highest standards of care are met.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise the daily operations of the health services team, ensuring all tasks are executed effectively, including assistance with activities of daily living, medication management, and care plan development.
- Monitor and maintain accurate documentation, including incident reports and communication logs.
- Develop, review, and update resident care plans in partnership with nursing staff.
- Communicate any changes in resident health status to the health services team.
- Coordinate with healthcare providers and schedule necessary appointments.
- Facilitate regular care meetings with residents and their families to discuss care plans and progress.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to health services team members.
- Manage the scheduling of health services staff, ensuring adequate coverage for all shifts.
- Lead the health services team to ensure all daily responsibilities are fulfilled.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of three years of experience in a leadership role within health services is required.
- Current certification as a CNA or HCA in the state.
- Possession of a WA Nurse Delegation Certificate.
- Experience as a medication technician or caregiver is preferred.
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a team.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- In-depth knowledge of senior care regulations and best practices.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of engaging with diverse groups.
- Proficient in computer applications, including email, record-keeping, and data management.
