Responsibilities- Prepare patients for radiation therapy or simulations, ensuring their comfort and safety throughout the process.
- Operate and maintain radiation therapy equipment, adhering to strict safety protocols and guidelines.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement treatment plans that meet the unique needs of each patient.
- Monitor patient progress, making adjustments to treatment plans as needed to ensure optimal outcomes.
- Document patient information, treatment plans, and outcomes in a clear and concise manner.
- Graduation from an approved program in Radiation Therapy or a degree in Radiography combined with a 1-year program in Radiation Therapy.
- Registration with the American Registry of Registered Technologists (ARRT) within 3 months of graduation.
- Proficiency in other languages is a plus.
