Manufacturing Operations Associate

Position Summary:
The role involves executing a diverse range of advanced mechanical and electrical assembly tasks for subassemblies.
Key Responsibilities:
– Follow detailed manufacturing guidelines and possess comprehensive knowledge of designs, schematics, and diagrams.
– Proficient in utilizing hand tools and operating shop equipment.
– Demonstrate computer literacy and familiarity with software pertinent to the manufacturing workflow, including product tracking and traceability.
– Grasp processes and work instructions, capable of documenting procedures and proposing modifications to processes or schematics, collaborating with engineering on production methodologies.
Qualifications:
– High school diploma or equivalent required.
– Strong reading, writing, and mathematical skills.
– Ability to interpret complex electrical and mechanical schematics.
– Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
– Soldering skills are advantageous but not mandatory.
– Experience in cable assembly tasks such as cutting, labeling, and crimping.
Physical and Environmental Considerations:
– Requires visual acuity for detailed tasks and manual dexterity for fine motor skills.
– Capable of working with minimal supervision on routine tasks and implementing changes with clear instructions.
– Availability for overtime as needed.
– Ability to stand for extended periods, up to 4 hours.
– Must be able to lift weights frequently up to 10lbs, occasionally up to 35lbs, and heavier loads with assistance.
– Compliance with safety regulations, including wearing necessary protective gear such as safety shoes and glasses.
– Must be able to work in environments with chemicals.
