Medical Assistant

PrideStaff is seeking a skilled Medical Assistant to join their team. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in enhancing patient care by assisting healthcare providers to interview, diagnose, and treat patients.
Duties and Responsibilities:- Prepare for patient visits by obtaining relevant records and vital signs.
- Interview patients to gather information about their health and reason for visit.
- Administer medications and immunizations as directed by a physician.
- Collect blood and laboratory specimens for diagnostic tests.
- Provide patient education and instructions on medication administration and diagnostic testing.
- Ensure accurate and complete patient records.
- Perform in-house diagnostic tests and instruct patients on how to obtain testing from outside facilities.
- Clean and stock exam rooms.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Certification or degree as a CMA or LPN.
- Certification as a CNA will be considered.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

8:00 am to 5:00 pm.
Compensation / Pay Rate:Up to $21.50 per hour.
