Essential Responsibilities:

  • The position is multifaceted, requiring the ability to switch between high-level strategic thinking and detailed operational tasks. Key responsibilities include:
  • Overseeing the procurement of data services, including the collection and annotation of data for diverse formats such as images, videos, audio, and translations across multiple language pairs.
  • Gaining a comprehensive understanding of the commodity landscape to anticipate industry trends and assess competitive dynamics. Recognizing shifts in buyer and supplier power to leverage industry insights for the benefit of the client.
  • Collaborating effectively with suppliers to negotiate favorable sourcing terms. Understanding the balance between cost, volume, and quality to reach agreements that align with organizational goals.
  • A Bachelor’s degree coupled with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience is required; a Master’s degree or MBA is preferred.
  • Experience in supplier management and operational problem-solving is advantageous.
  • Possessing end-to-end oversight of contract negotiations, including both commercial and legal considerations, is a plus.
