  • Read food orders or receive verbal instructions and prepare food accordingly.
  • Provide exceptional customer service at all times.

  • Prepare foods under supervision or instruction, using various kitchen equipment to measure, mix, wash, peel, cut, and shred fruits and vegetables, and trim and cut meat, poultry, or fish.
  • Taste products, read menus, estimate food requirements, check production, and maintain records to accurately plan production and requisition supplies and equipment.
  • Clean and sanitize workstations and equipment, adhering to all Westminster Canterbury, client, and regulatory rules and procedures.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous cooking experience preferred (0-2 years).
  • Strong working knowledge of food preparation techniques.
  • Serve Safe certification required or willingness to obtain within 6 months.
  • Knowledge of food handling and safety procedures.
  • Ability to work effectively with diverse individuals.
