Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled Quality Engineer to lead and manage the quality effort, including quality assurance and control activities and personnel. The successful candidate will act as a liaison to customers, vendors, and subcontractors in regards to quality.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and manage the quality effort, including quality assurance and control activities and personnel.
- Act as a liaison to customers, vendors, and subcontractors in regards to quality.
- Examine and inspect field conditions and identify problems, inaccuracies, and cost-saving measures.
- Identify potential safety hazards and take corrective actions to eliminate or minimize them.
- Maintain a thorough knowledge of the Kiewit/TIC Quality Management System and procedures.
- Manage Welding Procedure Specification log and files for assigned districts.
- Assist in conducting project quality audits and reports.
- At least four years' engineering or science degree or technical college degree plus two years' experience in a related construction field.
- Excellent communication and technical writing skills.
- Ability to work in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint software programs.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to perform a variety of tasks with deadlines.
