We are seeking a highly qualified Biomedical Educator to join our team at InsideHigherEd. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching biomedical science to undergraduate medical students, participating in curriculum development, and providing academic support.
Key Responsibilities- Teach biomedical science to undergraduate medical students
- Participate in curriculum development and implementation
- Provide academic support to students
- Develop and maintain course materials
- Integrate technology into the curriculum
- Master's degree in a biomedical science required
- Terminal degree in a biomedical science or medical degree preferred
- Cadaver dissection experience for Medical Educators assigned to human anatomy-related courses
- Demonstrated student academic support skills or the clear ability to be developed
- Teaching experience in a higher education setting
- Enrollment in the Professional Development Program in Medical Education
- Demonstrated ability to lecture, develop student curricular materials, and integrate technology into the curriculum
- Familiarity with medical physiology, biochemistry, pathology, and neurosciences
- Ability to integrate technological and social media skills to support learning
The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced academic environment with a diverse group of students and faculty.
