About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Biomedical Equipment Technician 2 to join our team at Philips. As a key member of our Multi-Vendor Services (MVS) business, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and technical support to our customers in the Loma Linda, CA area.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform preventative maintenance and service repair on medical equipment utilizing service manuals, on-the-job training, OEM, or 3rd party training.
  • Identify and resolve customer issues, providing effective communication and involving site service personnel as needed.
  • Maintain customer satisfaction by demonstrating ownership and a sense of urgency in delivering results.
  • Independently complete PMs, FCOs, installations, and related tasks, as well as diagnose and resolve electronic, network, and mechanical problems.
Requirements
  • Located in or near the Loma Linda, CA area.
  • Associates degree in electronics or equivalent combination of education and experience; BSEE/BSEET/BSME/BSMET preferred.
  • 3+ years of experience servicing medical equipment, with general biomedical, patient monitoring, blood pressure monitors, defibrillators, or infusion pump experience highly preferred.
  • Working knowledge of electronic circuit boards, schematics, processors, and computer hardware, including applications, programming, and systems functionality.
  • Ability to understand and apply electronic, mechanical, and networking theory to install, diagnose, and repair equipment.
