Job Summary

Grace Healthcare Services is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Intake Department Manager to join our team. As a key member of our organization, this individual will be responsible for maintaining and managing incoming patient referrals, supervising the Intake Staff, and assisting with compliance and office functions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Presents a professional image of the organization in all interactions with clients, patients, families, staff, and others
  • Processes and documents all new referrals
  • Contacts referral sources to update on intake process
  • Ensures compliance by following up and tracking
  • Provides weekly feedback status to the Director of Business Development, Clinical Director, Billing Coordinator, and Administrator
  • Assists other members of the management team with delegated clerical functions
  • Backs up the Clinical Program Support Coordinator in placing DME orders and pick-ups and maintains records of dates ordered and picked up
Requirements
  • High school graduate or equivalent
  • Three years of relevant prior work experience
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • At least one year of supervisory experience preferred
  • Computer literate in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Able to handle multiple tasks
  • Good typing skills
  • Excellent telephone skills and professionalism
