About the Role

">

This position is responsible for coordinating patient services and appointments, verifying insurance information, and managing patient medical records for a clinic.

You will also be responsible for checking in patients, completing new referral intake and onboarding, and scheduling patient appointments.

In addition, you will assist with prior authorization, review and process all assigned orders to completion, and communicate with insurance companies to pre-certify/authorize medications.

You will also provide excellent customer service skills and proactively identify and resolve issues that may impact patient satisfaction.

Your primary responsibilities will include greeting and checking-in patients, verifying patient insurance information, and collecting patient paperwork and entering patient information into systems.

You will also schedule, reschedule, and follow-up with patients for necessary appointments via phone, text, and email.

You will be working in a fast-paced environment and must be able to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.

Knowledge of current authorization regulatory guidelines and requirements is essential for this role.

Able to learn basic medical terminology and proficient utilizing EHRs, Practice Management platforms, and other software programs.

Salary Information

We offer a competitive salary of $52,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on experience.

Additionally, you will receive comprehensive benefits, including medical, dental, and vision coverage, as well as 401(k) matching and paid time off.

Requirements

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual with excellent communication and customer service skills.

Must have 3+ years of healthcare customer service experience and knowledge of ICD-9/10 and CPT codes.

Able to work independently under general supervision and effectively prioritize workload.

Must be able to multitask and adapt to a fast-paced work environment.
