Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Quality and Safety Specialist I to join our team at UCHealth. This role is responsible for measuring, analyzing, and facilitating improvement in clinical performance and outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify key clinical quality and patient safety measures, and promote the use of appropriate measures for clinical services.
  • Use the results of quality improvement activities to initiate changes in patient care practices and in the healthcare delivery system.
  • Prioritize and execute performance improvement plans related to clinical performance.
  • Perform documentation and process analysis, identify clinical best practices, and work with stakeholders to improve processes.
  • Assist with the development, piloting, use, and validation of data collection methodologies, and serve as a resource for developing indicators for studies and projects.
Requirements
  • Minimum Required Education: Graduate of an accredited or state board of nursing approved Registered/Professional Nursing program.
  • Required Licensure/Certification: State licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN). Relevant certification as determined at position level.
  • Minimum Experience: 2 years of relevant nursing experience, Preferred: Trauma program/services experience; quality improvement experience.
