About the Maintenance Supervisor Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Supervisor to join our team at Avenue5 Residential, LLC. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the day-to-day maintenance operations and physical upkeep of our properties are conducted in a safe and efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee and coordinate maintenance activities, including repairs, replacements, and preventative maintenance.
  • Manage and maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, inventory, and equipment maintenance.
  • Supervise and train maintenance staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
  • Conduct regular inspections of properties to identify and address any maintenance issues or concerns.
  • Develop and implement maintenance schedules and budgets to ensure efficient use of resources.
  • Collaborate with other departments, including property management and leasing, to ensure seamless communication and coordination.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in a related field preferred.
  • At least three years of experience in maintenance or facilities management, preferably in a property management company.
  • REAC inspection experience at affordable communities a plus.
  • HVAC/EPA certifications a plus.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to read, write, and understand English.
  • Ability to use general office equipment, such as telephone, fax machine, printer, copier, and key track system.
