Role Summary: The Electrical Testing Specialist plays a crucial role in executing the evaluation of electrical systems and equipment aboard vessels, ensuring adherence to client specifications. This position encompasses performing electrical assessments, addressing client queries, maintaining comprehensive documentation, generating reports, and rectifying identified issues.
Core Responsibilities:
- Execute and finalize electrical assessments and sea trials before client approval.
- Address inquiries from clients and regulatory representatives regarding vessel evaluations.
- Keep updated records of testing activities for ongoing projects.
- Prepare and submit procedural documents and special status reports as required.
- Identify and resolve issues discovered during testing, collaborating with engineering teams to implement solutions.
Required Qualifications:
- At least one (1) year of experience in quality assurance or a related testing field.
- Familiarity with shipbuilding methodologies and industry regulations.
- Proficient in using testing instruments and measurement tools for various inspection tasks.
- Capability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
