Solerity is in search of a Cost Price Analyst.


  • Act as a consultant to Contracting Officers and Contract Specialists regarding all pricing issues and financial elements of supplies, services, and construction procurements.
  • Support acquisition strategies and solicitation creation to secure timely and responsive cost/price proposals, facilitating effective government analysis.
  • Assist Contracting Officers and Contract Specialists in setting timely schedules for pricing support to ensure deadlines for data acquisition, correlation, and analysis are achieved.
  • Examine and assess unit cost and pricing data within proposals/quotes to ascertain reasonableness.
  • Compile cost/price analysis reports detailing findings and utilize Microsoft (MS) Excel spreadsheets to document the analysis and recommendations for Contracting Officer review.
  • Evaluate contractor proposed/quoted cost/price for fairness and reasonableness.
  • Assist in establishing pre-negotiation pricing positions and support negotiations, which may necessitate immediate interpretation of pricing data and advice on cost implications.
  • Review proposed costs to safeguard against excessive charges to the Government.
  • Analyze the realism of contractor proposed prices and the underlying quantitative aspects of proposals (e.g., resources and rates) using various methodologies.
  • Research, analyze, organize, and evaluate data, including cost/price data and financial information for various contract types.
  • Utilize MS Excel and various formulas/techniques to develop, assess, and/or enhance contractor cost models for calculating contract prices.
  • Additional responsibilities may be assigned.

Requirements

  • TS Clearance Required
  • Six (6) years of experience in federal contract cost/price analysis relevant to the responsibilities outlined for this role.
  • A Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
  • A Bachelor's degree may be substituted with four (4) additional years of contract cost/price analysis experience.
