Key Responsibilities:

  • Sort and wash soiled ware in a timely and efficient manner to ensure proper cleaning and sanitizing.
  • Operate dish and pot machines to maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
  • Use physical strength and stamina to perform tasks that require lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
  • Keep dish machines properly cleaned and filled with water to meet hotel standards.
  • Operate burnishing machines to ensure proper finish on silverware.
  • De-tarnish and polish silverware to maintain its appearance.
  • Clean kettles, tilt skillets, pots, and pans promptly and completely to enable cooks to perform their duties effectively.
  • Comply with attendance rules and be available to work on a regular basis.
  • Perform any other job-related duties as assigned.
  • Report, turn in, and/or log all lost and found items according to established procedures.

Requirements:

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with high levels of physical activity.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to lift, bend, and stand for extended periods.
