YOUR ROLE AS A PET GROOMING SPECIALIST

This full-time position typically requires working 5 days a week from 8 AM to 4 PM, with weekend availability being essential.

As a groomer, you will provide high-quality grooming services tailored to each pet's needs. You will receive specific instructions from clients regarding their desired grooming styles and lengths. Grooming will be performed using breed-specific techniques. You will handle each animal with care, being attentive to the condition of their coat and skin, allowing you to provide timely updates to pet owners. Your responsibilities include combing, clipping, and trimming according to guidelines. When necessary, you will bathe and thoroughly dry each dog using a combination of towels, forced air dryers, or warm air stand dryers. You will also maintain a clean and sanitized workspace between sessions and at the end of the day. Your passion for spending time with our delightful pet clients will be evident as you work to minimize wait times for appointments.


REQUIREMENTS

  • Personal grooming tools (we provide tubs, tables, dryers, shampoo, and conditioner)
  • Diploma from an accredited grooming school OR 3+ years of professional grooming experience
  • Experience with breed-specific cuts
  • Proficiency in using both electric clippers and grooming shears
  • Ability to use verbal or physical cues to soothe anxious animals
