Job Summary

The University of Kentucky is seeking a skilled MRI Technologist to join our team. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will be responsible for performing Magnetic Resonance Imaging procedures in accordance with industry standards and best practices.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate MRI equipment to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes
  • Position patients for optimal imaging results
  • Monitor and maintain equipment to ensure optimal performance
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses
  • Provide exceptional patient care and communication
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A degree in Radiologic Technology or a related field
  • Registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
  • CPR certification and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
