Overview

Catholic Health Initiatives is seeking a skilled MRI Technologist II to join our Radiology Resource Flex team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for operating a magnetic resonance scanner to obtain high-quality images for use by physicians in the diagnosis and treatment of pathologies. Your expertise will be essential in ensuring the highest level of patient care and satisfaction.

Responsibilities

* Obtain patient history and screening forms, explaining routine procedures and addressing patient concerns.
* Maintain patient records and files, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information.
* Perform quality assurance on magnetic resonance scanners, ensuring optimal performance and safety standards.
* Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans.
* Participate in hospital and department quality assurance programs to ensure safety and satisfaction.
* Maintain professional development and education for technical competency, staying up-to-date with the latest advancements in MRI technology.
* Use standard precautions and PPE at all times, adhering to regulatory compliance and licensure requirements.
* Attend all required educational programs and Learn modules, demonstrating a commitment to ongoing learning and growth.
* Contribute to the efficient operation and monitoring of the department, utilizing resources efficiently and effectively.
* Demonstrate complete working knowledge of equipment within assigned areas, ensuring seamless integration with other departments.
* Knowledge and performance of the Code of Conduct Standards, upholding the highest standards of professionalism and integrity.

Qualifications

* Graduate of an accredited school of Radiology Technology.
* Possess and maintain certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) within 1 year of employment or transferring into the position.
* State of Kentucky Licensure required. BLS within 30 days of employment.
* Previous experience in MRI preferred.
