Join our dedicated team at Foundation Medical Partners, where we focus on delivering exceptional care in the field of obesity medicine. We are seeking a qualified Obesity Medicine Specialist to enhance our Weight Management program.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Perform thorough patient assessments, including comprehensive medical histories, physical examinations, and necessary laboratory tests.
2. Maintain a schedule of 36 patient contact hours and 4 hours dedicated to administrative tasks weekly.
3. Participate in a collaborative practice with a team of 3 Physicians and 2 Advanced Practice Providers (APPs).
4. Create and implement personalized treatment strategies that encompass lifestyle changes, dietary guidance, behavioral therapy, and pharmacological interventions.
5. Offer both surgical and non-surgical options for weight management.
6. Work closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care and treatment continuity.
7. Track patient progress, modify treatment plans as required, and maintain accurate documentation of outcomes.
8. Stay informed about the latest developments in obesity medicine and bariatric treatment.
9. Engage in community outreach and educational programs aimed at promoting effective weight management practices.
Qualifications:
- Board Certification in Obesity Medicine is required.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience post-training is preferred.
