Job Summary:
Catholic Medical Center is seeking a highly skilled Medical Assistant to join our team at the New England Weight Management Institute. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing top-notch patient care and supporting our providers in delivering exceptional healthcare services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist providers with patient examinations and procedures, ensuring the highest standards of care and patient satisfaction.
- Prepare for appointments by reviewing charts, obtaining vital signs, and updating patient records.
- Recognize and report relevant information requiring urgent attention, ensuring timely and effective patient care.
- Direct patients to examination rooms, assist with preparing them for examinations, and inform providers of their arrival and readiness for examination.
Requirements:
- Graduate from an approved Medical Assistant Program.
- CMA (Certified Medical Assistant) certification.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- One year of related work experience in a medical office (preferred).
- Medication Prior Authorization experience preferred.
