About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Computed Tomography Technologist to join our team on a PRN/Float Pool Basis. As a key member of our radiology department, you will play a vital role in providing optimal patient care by performing CT scan procedures efficiently and effectively.

Responsibilities
  1. Perform basic and complex computerized tomography (CT) scans as ordered by physicians, adhering to Parkland, state, and regulatory standards.
  2. Read and interpret protocols, manipulate equipment controls, and operate equipment to meet the radiographic needs of patients.
  3. Identify supply needs, monitor expiration dates, and take appropriate action to ensure a well-stocked and efficient department.
  4. Participate in The Joint Commission Continual Readiness and departmental Performance Improvement Programs.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP) radiography program.
  • Two (2) years of experience performing Radiology procedures preferred, but all experience considered.
  • Must have an American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (R)(ARRT) certification, Advanced Registry in Computed Tomography (R)(CT)(ARRT), and a Medical Radiologic Technologist license from the State of Texas.
  • Current CPR course completion card from a recognized organization.
