Project Manager Job Description

Red Cedar Solutions, a leading Information Technology company, is seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to join their team. As a key member of the team, the Project Manager will be responsible for ensuring the successful execution of projects, coordinating internal resources and third-party vendors, and developing project scopes and objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate project resources and vendors to ensure timely and within-budget project delivery
  • Develop and manage project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation
  • Ensure effective communication with stakeholders, including project sponsors, team members, and vendors
  • Identify and mitigate project risks, and develop contingency plans as needed
  • Monitor and report on project progress, and make adjustments as necessary

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Management or related field
  • Proven experience as a project administrator in government contracting or environmental sector
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills
  • Strong working knowledge of project management methodologies, including PMBOK
  • PMP or PRINCE II certification is a plus
