Job Title: Sales Manager

Job Summary:

The Sales Manager is a key member of the store management team, responsible for driving sales growth, improving customer satisfaction, and maintaining store operations. This role requires a strong leader who can motivate and guide a team to achieve business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement sales strategies to meet or exceed sales targets
  • Lead and manage a team of sales associates to ensure excellent customer service and sales performance
  • Monitor and analyze sales data to identify trends and areas for improvement
  • Collaborate with the credit manager to ensure effective credit management and customer satisfaction
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
  • Manage store inventory, including ordering, receiving, and stocking merchandise
  • Develop and maintain relationships with customers, vendors, and other stakeholders
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the General Manager

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience in sales, retail, or a related field
  • Proven track record of sales success and leadership experience
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree preferred

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift, load, and move merchandise up to 300 pounds
  • Ability to stand for long periods, walk, and climb stairs
  • Ability to work in a variety of climates and weather conditions

Work Environment:

The Sales Manager will work in a fast-paced retail environment, interacting with customers, employees, and vendors on a regular basis. The role requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
