Job Summary

IBA seeks a seasoned financial professional to serve as Controller, responsible for leading the organization's financial reporting, budgeting, and compliance efforts. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting standards, financial analysis, and regulatory compliance, with experience working in a tax-exempt organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement financial reporting systems to ensure accurate and timely financial information.
  • Manage the general ledger, accounts payable, and accounts receivable, ensuring compliance with GAAP and regulatory requirements.
  • Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial models to support strategic decision-making.
  • Collaborate with the CFO to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, including financial reporting and audit preparation.
  • Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to ensure effective financial management.
  • Provide financial analysis and recommendations to support business decisions.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
  • 7-10 years of progressive experience in accounting and financial management, with a focus on tax-exempt organizations.
  • CPA license or equivalent certification.
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and regulatory compliance.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
