POSITION OVERVIEW

The Junior Housing Services Coordinator plays a crucial role in delivering essential housing support by maintaining tenancies, overseeing rental accounts, and conducting inspections related to maintenance for both occupied and vacated properties. This position is integral to the Housing Advice and Assistance Team (HAAT) and the Tenancy and Property Team (TPT). As a trainee, you will engage in a variety of administrative tasks that assist the Housing teams in providing services to public housing tenants across the northern metropolitan area of Melbourne. This is an excellent opportunity to acquire practical experience and enhance your skills within a collaborative and vibrant team setting.

Applications from individuals residing in public housing within the designated area will be prioritized. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE

Provide general guidance on housing alternatives based on established policies, procedures, and standards. Assist in directing clients to appropriate internal or external support services to address their immediate housing needs. Conduct supervised home visits as necessary.
