Key Responsibilities:
- Execute a range of advanced administrative functions, including managing phone communications, word processing, data entry, transcription, editing, and organizing documentation.
- Support the Controller by performing various tasks that contribute to the upkeep of the Credit Union's financial, statistical, and accounting records.
- Handle and oversee operational settlements as designated.
- Manage Accounts Payable processes in line with the established policies for American Heritage and its affiliates.
- Review and process approved expense reports, ensuring accurate payment and posting to the general ledger.
- Monitor and document fixed asset transactions in the general ledger.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of one year of experience in accounting or a related discipline is preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is essential.
- Familiarity with fundamental accounting principles is required.
- A Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or a related field is necessary.
