We are seeking a skilled Charge Nurse to oversee the clinical and care aspects of our senior living community. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with the Director of Nursing to ensure the highest level of care and support for our residents.

Responsibilities
  • Coordinate day-to-day operations of the Wellness Center
  • Follow up on physician orders and coordinate services with ancillary providers
  • Provide medication administration to assigned residents and report any adverse reactions
  • Ensure resident care and service plans are followed by overseeing tasks of Medication Technicians and care providers
  • Make situational decisions and manage conflict in a positive and constructive manner
  • Update and review resident medical records and clinical documentation
Requirements
  • Active nursing license in the state where this community is located
  • CPR certification or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire
  • Proficient in verbal and written English with strong oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to work a defined schedule, including weekends and holidays
  • Intermediate computer and mobile device skills
Preferred Skills and Characteristics
  • Flexible and adaptable with strong problem-solving skills
  • Dependable and self-directed with strong organizational and time management skills
  • Strong leadership and supervisory abilities, adept at guiding and directing teams
  • Works with a sense of urgency while paying close attention to detail
  • More than one year of medication management experience
  • Prior direct supervisory experience
