We are seeking an experienced Patient Care Coordinator to join our team at Sanitas Medical Center. This individual will play a vital role in supporting both administrative and clinical operations by fostering seamless communication and coordination between staff, patients, and visitors.

The ideal candidate for this position must possess excellent organizational skills, strong verbal and written communication abilities, and a basic understanding of medical terminology and procedures.

Responsibilities
  • Welcome and greet patients, clients, and visitors warmly, efficiently directing them to the appropriate person or department.
  • Assess visitor purposes, resolve inquiries, and ensure positive experiences.
  • Process visitor registration tasks, including verifying eligibility, processing forms, collecting payments, and compiling medical information.
  • Maintain patient confidentiality by securing protected health information (PHI) and logging off computers before leaving them unattended.
  • Provide relevant information about appointments, procedures, and available resources to ensure patients understand their healthcare journey.
  • Support administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and maintaining accurate records to ensure smooth operations.
  • Schedule and confirm appointments, check-ups, and physician referrals.
  • Communicate observations of patients' visitors' status to the Manager and/or nurse-in-charge.
  • Review medical records and follow up on obtaining missing results prior to patient visits.
  • Answer telephones promptly and direct calls to the appropriate staff members.
  • Responsible for ordering medical supplies according to departmental needs.
Requirements
  • High School Graduate or Equivalent.
  • Medical Assistant Diploma from a College/University/Technical School or equivalent experience in lieu of MA diploma.
  • At least one year of experience in the medical sector, specifically in managing a substantial clinic.
  • Basic knowledge of computer skills, typing proficiency, and familiarity with office equipment usage.
Salary Range

$45,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience.
