Job Overview

The role of a Community Association Manager is to effectively oversee the daily operations of the Association, ensuring compliance with company policy, procedure, and current law. This position requires leadership skills to guide the Board of Directors in making informed decisions that align with their fiduciary responsibilities.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Communicate with Boards of Directors, vendors, and homeowners regarding essential tasks and community matters.
  • Respond to and manage homeowner maintenance and other requests.
  • Provide fiscal management through budget preparation, monthly reporting, and oversight of accounts receivable collection.
  • Offer guidance to Board members on best practices for Association management and governance, ensuring they meet their fiduciary duties.
  • Coordinate and attend Board and member meetings, including notice preparation, minute keeping, and voting procedures.
  • Prepare Board meeting packets and Management Reports, maintaining action item lists and following up accordingly.
  • Perform site visits to oversee client vendors and administration of client's enforcement processes and procedures.
  • Assist Boards with architectural review and approval process, contract solicitation, and project oversight.
  • Respond to e-mails and phone calls daily.

Requirements:

  • Proven proficiency in learning new technology.
  • Outstanding written and oral communication skills.
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to be detail-oriented.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Adaptability and versatility.
  • Proven capability to review and analyze financial reports.
  • Familiarity with insurance requirements and contractual bidding processes.
  • Knowledge of proper meeting order and minute requirements, with the ability to attend 1-5 evening meetings per month.
  • Familiarity with architectural review process and creation/maintenance of working budgets.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • College degree preferred and/or equivalent property management industry experience.
  • A valid driver's license, automobile, and daily use of automobile.
