Gastroenterology Clinic Charge Nurse

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Clinic Charge Nurse Gastroenterology to join our team at Sutter Health. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in nursing, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
As a Clinic Charge Nurse Gastroenterology, you will be responsible for coordinating patient care services, managing patient workflow, and providing leadership in developing and maintaining optimal patient care standards. You will work closely with the healthcare team to ensure that patients receive high-quality care and that their needs are met. You will also be responsible for participating in patient/family teaching, providing leadership, and working cooperatively with ancillary, nursing, and other patient team personnel to maintain standards for professional nursing practice.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a graduate degree from an accredited school of nursing, a current RN license in California, and Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider certification. You will also need to have at least eight years of recent relevant experience in a healthcare setting. You should possess expert knowledge of nursing theories, concepts, and practices, as well as medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology. You should also have excellent written and verbal communication skills, be able to prioritize assignments and work within standardized policies, procedures, and scientific methods, and be able to work independently and as part of a team.
Working Conditions:
This is a full-time position that requires a 10-hour shift, Monday through Friday. You will be working in a clinical setting and will be required to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) as needed. You will also be required to participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on the latest nursing practices and technologies.
