Job Summary:

Anesthesia Technician - Clinical Support Specialist

Stanford Health Care is seeking a highly skilled Anesthesia Technician to join our team. As an Anesthesia Technician, you will be responsible for providing clinical support to the Department of Anesthesia, ensuring the safe and cost-effective delivery of anesthetic patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide supplies and equipment to the Department of Anesthesia
  • Perform a variety of tasks, including indirect patient care, to ensure the safe and cost-effective delivery of anesthetic patient care
  • Assist in the evaluation of new products and provide feedback on their use
  • Assist with record keeping and patient charges
  • Ensure the replacement or repair of malfunctioning equipment
  • Attend and participate in equipment and supply in-services, evaluations, and staff meetings
  • Contribute to a positive team culture and support unit and department goals

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent
  • One (1) year of directly related work experience
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

Working Conditions:

The Physical Requirements and Working Conditions in which the job is typically performed are available from the Occupational Health Department.
