Clinical Nurse Specialist

At MFSTalent, we are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Nurse to join our team. As a Clinical Nurse, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and ensuring the highest level of surgical outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:- Assessment and Diagnosis: Conduct thorough assessments of patients' medical conditions and histories, and order diagnostic tests to diagnose surgical conditions and determine the need for surgery.
- Surgical Procedures: Perform surgical procedures, including appendectomies, hernia repairs, gallbladder removals, colon surgeries, and various other abdominal, breast, and soft tissue surgeries.
- Patient Education: Explain the surgical procedure, potential risks, and alternatives to patients, obtaining their informed consent before surgery.
- Preoperative and Postoperative Care: Prepare patients for surgery, which may involve prescribing preoperative medications, providing instructions for fasting, and ensuring patients are in optimal health for the procedure. Monitor patients in the postoperative period, providing appropriate care, managing pain, and addressing any complications that may arise.
- Education: Bachelor's Degree or higher in Nursing from an accredited academic institution.
- Experience: At least 2 years of Step-down experience required.
- Licenses and Certifications: CA RN - Registered Nurse, BLS Basic Life Support.
