Job Title: Lead Analyst - Transmission Analytics

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Analyst to join our team in Augusta, ME. As a key member of our Transmission Analytics department, you will play a critical role in supporting the development of new beneficial electrification programs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct market and technology trend research to inform company strategy and program development.
  • Act as a subject matter expert to provide input on company strategy and program development.
  • Perform analysis of data to identify technology adoption and load trends.
  • Lead or provide oversight of university and vendor-led research initiatives that analyze beneficial electrification.
  • Develop reports and presentations that communicate research and forecast results.
  • Engage with key stakeholders on topics related to beneficial electrification to understand their needs and communicate related company activity.
  • Represent the company on regional and national beneficial electrification-related working groups.
  • Draft content for regulatory filings.
  • Reviews and summarizes regulatory Orders and related filings.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree with 2 years relevant experience or master's degree with demonstrated understanding of beneficial electrification technology and market trends.
  • Experience managing complex projects and initiatives.
  • Experience performing research and data analysis.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work on a geographically dispersed team.
  • Ability to work independently, exercise considerable judgment, and recommend a course of action based on solid analysis and rationale.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Access).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience and understanding of utility regulations and operations.
  • Understanding of emerging beneficial electrification technologies.
  • Experience conducting stakeholder engagement.
  • Familiarity with advanced analytical tools.
